What’s on your mind? (2021)
Creative Idea’s for Self Care is a workbook created by Artworks in 2021 which includes ten activities by ten artists to support your mental and physical wellbeing.
My creative activity is a simple yet cathartic exercise in which anyone can participate in, especially those who struggle with anxiety and an overload of thoughts; it can be paralysing.
Simply take a piece of paper and write down what is bothering you. Just the one thing so we can break down each thought. You can do this in huge letters or small, whatever suits you. Now over the top, we deface the thought. By deface I mean, ruin it, cover it, use whatever you have. By doing such a physical action over the thought this will hopefully help to release it from our brains.
