In August 2025, I was approached by Clifton Park Museum Rotherham to create a drop in workshop as part of their new exhibition, SELF: There’s More to Me Than What You See; curated by Rob Young alongside local young people and the museum team.
The exhibition explores identity in a variety of ways and asks the viewer the maybe not so simple question of “Who Am I?”
From this brief and exploring the exhibition myself, I created a zine booklet filled with activities that responded to each exhibition room that prompted questions and self reflection.
This zine booklet activity encouraged the participant to travel around the gallery; engaging, exploring and questioning the artwork as well as asking themselves questions.
This drop in workshop then followed on to a creative portrait workshop using paper collage materials.
